We are thrilled to launch the Kyoto Legacy Collection 2024, which allows KI NO BI lovers around the world to experience the graceful craftsmanship of Kyoto and our five most iconic gins: KI NO BI, KI NO BAI, KI NO TEA, KI NO BI SEI, and KI NO TOU.
The collection is adorned with special kimonos made especially for the collection by KANOKO, a company founded in 1889 in Nishijin, a historic centre of kimono manufacturing not far from the KI NO BI House. Inspired by The Tale of Genji, written by the 11th century aristocratic woman Murasaki Shikibu, each kimono represents one of the five unique heroines from the story. Curated exclusively for number of 125 collections produced.

We are often asked why we chose to establish our craft gin distillery in Kyoto, rather than Tokyo, Osaka or Hokkaido, or any of the many other locations that could have been selected.
We spent six months selecting the finest suppliers and botanicals for the production of KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin, many of them sourced locally from Kyoto Prefecture.
